Protocols for the culture of chlorella and rotifer for feeding of mahseer larvae.
Ontogenic development of digestive enzymes in early larval stages of golden mahseer
The methodology/process has been developed and standardized for preparation of microparticulate diet for golden mahseer larvae.
A microparticulate diet “NANHE MAHSEER” has been developed and evaluated for larval rearing of golden mahseer.
Growout feed for successful rearing of chocolate mahseer has been developed.
Cost effective growout feed has been developed for rearing of rainbow trout.
 
Pathogenic fungi from Coldwater fish and their environment
Saprolegnia parasitica and Saprolegnia diclina was isolated from water samples and tissue samples of Common carp, Golden Mahseer and Chocolate mahseer.
Aqueous extract (5%, 8%, 10% w/v) of Black Musturd (Brassica nigra) leaves and Lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus) leaves for three different time periods (20 min., 40 min., and 60 min.) was tested at 18-200C for therapeutic use against pathogenic fungi, isolated from fish tissue and found without mycelial growth at all concentrations and immersion time.
